Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about playing 13-card Indian Rummy with friends on RummyDen.
Is RummyDen free?
Yes. You can play Points Rummy with friends for free, without an app download or a registered account. Guests use a display name and request a seat for the host to approve. No purchase is needed. Plus subscriptions are currently unavailable.
Can I play 13-card Indian Rummy with friends from India and the USA at the same time?
RummyDen is designed for friends in different locations to share a table. Create a private room, share its link or 6-character code, and approve your friends' seat requests. Each player needs a supported browser and an internet connection.
Do I need to download an app?
No app download is required. Open RummyDen in your browser with JavaScript enabled. On a phone, use landscape orientation for the card table. Where your browser supports it, you can optionally add a home-screen shortcut.
Is RummyDen a real-money rummy site?
No. RummyDen provides free-play card games for friends and family. Chips only keep score and have no cash value. There are no cash games, deposits, withdrawals or prizes.
What does free-play mean?
Players use free chips to keep score. They cannot purchase, cash out or exchange those chips for anything of value. RummyDen does not provide wagering, cash settlement or prizes.
How many players can join one private room?
2 to 6 players per room. The deck size auto-adjusts (1 deck for 2-3 players, 2 decks for 4-6 players). Beyond 6, host a second room — rummy is best at 6 or under.
Can I play as a guest?
Yes. Open a room link, choose Sit Here, enter a display name and confirm your free chips. The host approves your seat request. You can optionally sign in with Google for a persistent profile and game history.
Does it work on my phone?
The card table is designed for landscape on phones, with touch controls for selecting, grouping, drawing and discarding cards. Device and browser behavior can vary; if a control is difficult to use, report your device and browser through the feedback form.
What happens if my friend's phone dies mid-game?
A connection interruption does not by itself mean leaving the table. Reopen the room in the same browser session to attempt to restore your seat and current game state. Play and configured timers can continue while you are away, so the turn or round may have changed. Recovery depends on the room and browser session still being available.
Can I play Indian Rummy variants other than Points?
The current room-creation flow offers Points Rummy. Pool 101, Pool 201 and Deals are not currently selectable there.
How do I share a room invite?
Use Share in the lobby or tap the room code to copy the invite link. Send it directly to your friends. A visitor can open the room preview and request a seat; the host approves who sits at the table.
Is RummyDen affiliated with any real-money rummy company?
RummyDen is an independent free-play product. Advertising is currently disabled. We use service providers for functions such as hosting, Google sign-in and optional analytics, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Can I subscribe to RummyDen Plus?
Plus subscriptions are currently unavailable, and there is no active paid offer. You do not need a subscription to create or join a game.
Can I play poker on RummyDen too?
Yes. RummyDen also has private-play Texas Hold'em for home games with friends. Create a poker table, share the link, and everyone gets play chips and a friendly chip ledger. It is play-chips only — there is no real money, no buy-in for cash, and no gambling.
Is RummyDen poker real-money gambling?
No. RummyDen poker is a social, private home game between friends using play chips that have no monetary value. There are no deposits, no cash-outs, and no wagering for money. It is a way to enjoy the game and keep a friendly chip score, nothing more.
How do I play poker with my friends?
Open the Poker section, create a private table, and choose your settings (blinds, seats, timer). Share the invite link on WhatsApp, everyone takes a seat with play chips, and the host deals. New to the game? See our guides on Texas Hold'em rules and poker hand rankings.
What is the difference between rummyden.com and privatefelt.com?
They are the same app on two web addresses. Both rummyden.com and privatefelt.com give you rummy and poker, the same account, and the same features. Use whichever link a friend shares with you.
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes. Google sign-in is optional and gives you a persistent profile, recent rooms, and game history across devices. You can still play as a guest with just a display name if you prefer.
Do you show ads?
Advertising is currently disabled. No paid subscription is needed to play without ads.
Do you sell my personal data?
We do not sell your personal data. Service providers help us run functions such as sign-in, hosting and optional analytics. The Privacy Policy describes those uses and lets you change your optional analytics choice.
How do I report a bug or send feedback?
Use the feedback form — you can reach it from your account page under "Help & feedback". Pick the game, tell us what happened, optionally attach a screenshot, and it goes straight to the team.
